"Eye" Have A Question 4 U!

Hi ya! This is Cat (writing, not pictured). While I am a contributor to this blog , I have a question for you!

When it comes to under eye creams, which is your favorite?

I've been using Borba Fiber-Knit Orbital Eye Rejuvenator Cream (courtesy of my dear buds at QVC). I have oily skin, and thus, oily eyelids (I don't know of a nicer way to put it). But in winter, I occassionally have dryness toward the inner corners of my eyes - and it is great for this. I also have dark circles and the early stages of crows feet, and I saw a slight improvement using the Borba. As a contact lens wearer, I totally appreciate that it doesn't sting or irritate. As a user of Rx acne cream, I _LOVE_ that it doesn't react. (I was once using Murad eye cream and PersaGel - I developed a little bumpy rash where the two met - not pretty!)

BUT, I'm wondering if there is something even better out there - oh do tell!

Smashbox Photo Finish

Gotta have it! Use daily as a base or on special occasions under foundation or powder for FLAWLESS coverage all day. Introduced to PF by a friend at a wedding, bride looked perfect all day, despite the heat and sun in Mexico! I've ordered it from Smashbox and Sephora.
Smashbox description:
Create a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky blend of vitamins A & E, grape seed extract and green tea. The best-selling formula helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores for visibly softer skin. Wear under foundation to increase its longevity, or alone for a velvety-smooth finish.

MAC my lips

MAC lip color gives the best colors! They have a brilliant recycling program. And there's the whole Viva Glam line that funds AIDS research... Hard to navigate through the formulas sometimes, though...

Tinted Lipglass-- I had in Viva Glam VI. Excellent color, super shiny, but it is basically glue. E.g., If you need to wipe your nose, you should also wipe-off & reapply, cause you will have collected lint and dust like no one's business.

Lip Gelee-- When the super-friendly MAC artiste handed me a tube of Slicked Pink Lip Gelee & told me I needed it, I was very dubious. It's a coral-peachy thing in a tube. I was not impressed. Then I tried it. Holy moley! Shine, just enough color, not at all sticky! I wear it over nude-ish lipsticks, by itself in the summer... Sidenote: The MAC store on Queen Street in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) is incredible. It's like a party!

Lipstick-- VIVA GLAM lipsticks rock!!! The colors are excellent, not super-long-wearing, but smooth & creamy. My senior year of high school (1994), I was all about a shade that was not unlike Deep Love. It was a deep red, Matte, blue based. I think it also started with a "D." It was brilliant. Dubosh? So worth the hours of baby-sitting it took to get the $!

I have bought the Viva Glam palette for the last 2 years. This year, I also bought for my mom & sister. LOVE the beautiful case, the little brush, the great shades!

Vincent Longo LipStain Lipstick

Vincent Longo LipStain Lipstick
Cherry
How do I love this? Let me count the ways:
1. SPF 15
2. Brilliant red color. Not over-the-top, but like I just had strawberries.
3. Glossy, but not so much that I could be seen from space.
4. Makes my lips feel smooth.
5. Not greasy, cakey, or waxy feeling.
6. I can put it on without looking. Okay, I do this with most things, but this doesn't get all sloppy.
7. Smells like vanilla & cinnamon.
8. Doesn't taste like dish soap. Doesn't really taste like anything.

I am all about it. My only druthers is that they no longer make the shade Americana, which was (oddly enough) more of a cherry-red. That was quite a color.

Zapping Zits.

Cleaning Products: Method

Method-brand Cleaning Products
I love that these aren't the baby-with-three-heads type of chemical cleaners!
Naked--no smell! Good for the stove, as heat + smell cleaners can = disaster.
Pink Grapefruit-- Clean citrus. This is what I like my kitchen to smell like. All my counters, actually. And some of my windows-- not in the bedroom, though, it is too energetic!
Lavender--too fussy for kitchen, competes with cooking smells. Good in the bathroom & bedroom.
Eucalyptus Mint-- smells like clean dorm bathrooms. Definite cleaning product smell, hint of toothpaste.
