Totally TIGI

Looking for some easy ways to snazz up your ‘do without a complete overhaul? You don’t necessarily need to call the salon—just grab a few fantastic hair products that will leave you with the sweet (or saucy!) style you’re aiming for.

Bed Head by TIGI Manipulator: Feeling daring? This fiber-forming cream is perfect for creating spikes, twisted dreads or other punky looks. Not so much? It also adds awesome body and texture when worked throughout tresses.

Our take: This blue goo totally delivers and gives just the right amount of definition to roughed out, bed head-y hair. One caveat of note: it is a bit drippy, so exercise a bit of caution when opening.

$18.50 at BedHead.com

Catwalk by TIGI Straight Collection Sleek Mystique Blow Out Balm: Prep hair before blow drying for touchable, glossy hair without losing volume. Silk and soy combine with a blend of dragon fruit and bamboo to give your straight style lasting hydration.

Our take: Wowza! Our at-home blowout never looked or felt glossier! All it took was one pump of the seemingly glitter-flecked goodness too. A total winner.

$19.95 at CatwalkByTIGI.com

Catwalk by TIGI Session Series Salt Spray: Explore that casual cool, model off duty side with a spray that promises texture, body, volume and light, pliable hold.

Our take: Hands-down FAVORITE! I am always on the hunt for a sea salt spray that actually delivers piece-y texture to my fine locks. Most products give some sort of texture and rough lift at first, but I’ve always found myself disappointed by the time I got to work. This is the spray I’ve been searching for. I love it love it love it. Sold for life!

Bed Head by TIGI Hard Head Hairspray: Get a hairspray that can withstand the test of time on the most outrageous styles. Dries instantly and the more you spray, the more it holds.

Our take: Definitely the ideal product for mastering a hard-to-hold style. I also found it a nice finishing touch after using the Sea Salt Spray. If you’re going for hold and shine though, I might look elsewhere, as this is more for gravity-defying bold styles.

$16.50 at BedHead.com

TIGI products might seem a bit pricey, but the quality is more than worth it and they’ll last you for months. Oh, and did I also mention that each of these smells absolutely, positively, wonderfully DIVINE? Trust me when I tell you, TIGI is where it’s at!

Tigi-Tastic

New make-up never gets old. New GOOD make-up is even better.

TIGI, more known for its innovative hair care products, also offers a full line of fabulous cosmetics.

The Glow Blush in Haute was a little intimidating for me at first- I'm more of a naturally enhanced rosy pink cheek, and this hue looked a little too golden/brown in its packaging. Once applied though, it left a super flattering shimmery flush that lasted all day.

But even better is the Black Patent Liquid Eyeliner. Since trying this for the first time I have been on a total cat-eye trip, if that tells you anything!

The liner boasts a patent shine that won't smudge or smear and man, did it deliver! I absolutely LOVED the glossy effect! Plus, true to promise, it didn't budge. Application is very manageable too, with a sort of a brush/marker hybrid tip.

Props to TIGI for adding some extra oomph to my spring make-up tricks!

Give Your Eye Shadow a Kick in the Butt!

I love eye color. I rarely leave the house without a hue or tint to my eyelids. With this interest in shadows and creams comes quite the collection of product. With that said, sometimes I get a little bored with my rotation of color! Enter: TIGI Liquid Enhancer. This tiny bottle packs massive power to take your eye shadow color up a step or two! Simply apply to your lids prior to your eye cream or powder, or apply over the color (play around a bit for variation in intensity) and this TIGI super hero in a bottle will take your look from "Huh?" to "What whaaat!?!" TIGI plays well with others so grab this stuff today and start introducing it to it's new friends in your make up bag!

One Stuffed Stocking

Santa was exceptionally generous this year and
filled my mantle-hung booty with all sorts of irresistible products!!

Check out what the big guy gifted me:

TIGI Dual Bronzer- This combo pack provides whatever you need on any given day! Feeling like you need a bit of bronze? Hit up the right side of this gem! Simply looking for a highlight to your cheek bones? Use the left! For a perfect, sunkissed glow, blend the two together!! This is a must have-especially during the winter when our skin lacks a bit of mother nature shed vitamin D.

Essence, Stay All Day Concealer-Santa really did think of everything!! I love this long lasting stick that hides my facial imperfections. It's easy application and beautiful blendability (is that a word? it is now!) make it a new key player in my arsenal of products!!

Lady Gaga, Fame- When she isn't belting out kick-butt pop and dance jams, abusing the piano in the best possible way, or rocking a meat-suit, Lady Gaga is designing perfumes! Contrary to popular belief, this is not a bottle of blood and semen scent, but rather a feminine fluid with notes of saphron, honey, and apricot!

Essence, Color & Go- Any super busy gal on the go who also loves a fresh manicure needs this polish in her life!! These cute little bottles of fun come in endless hues and really do provide a quick drying, professional finish.

Avon, Luxe Clutch Eyeshadow-This adorably packaged, mirrored compact contains 10 tempting shades of shadow, ideal for day or night! I plan to make this my go-to for eye lid hues at home or travel!

Essence-Stay All Day Long Lasting Eye Shadow-Santa knows I'm a hard working chick, who often puts in some long days, so this delicate yet powerful shadow is a must have to keep looking fresh faced throughout it all! I'm loving the shade "For Faries", but per the usual, Essence has an eye shadow in every flavor imaginable!
