Our take: Hands-down FAVORITE! I am always on the hunt for a sea salt spray that actually delivers piece-y texture to my fine locks. Most products give some sort of texture and rough lift at first, but I’ve always found myself disappointed by the time I got to work. This is the spray I’ve been searching for. I love it love it love it. Sold for life!

Bed Head by TIGI Hard Head Hairspray: Get a hairspray that can withstand the test of time on the most outrageous styles. Dries instantly and the more you spray, the more it holds.

Our take: Definitely the ideal product for mastering a hard-to-hold style. I also found it a nice finishing touch after using the Sea Salt Spray. If you’re going for hold and shine though, I might look elsewhere, as this is more for gravity-defying bold styles.

Pureology~Colour Stylist, Supreme Control, Maximum Hold Hairspray

My hair suffers regularly. I am frequently color treated, past due for a trim, a daily user of heat products, and currently rocking a white girl weave. With that said, I am a huge fan of any product that will replenish my tortured locks or will at least mask the daily damage done. Like all Pureology products, this hairspray is 100% vegan, 100% salon quality, and 100% fantastic! When they boast this stuff as maximum hold, non dulling, and with extra shine, they speak the truth! This is my new favorite hairspray and is worth the salon product price!!

Redken Fashion Work 12 Hairspray

I started using this when I ran out of my beloved hairspray. Once again and for the upteenth time, I was impressed with a Redken product. This hairspray is touchable and makes hair piecy. After curling my hair, I sprayed and it held the curls all day. My favorite part? The scent. It's a warm musk that lingers. Love it.

I absolutely LOVE the Sebastian line of hair products. The Shine Define hairspray is light, and smells wonderful. I have had several people tell me that my hair smells good when I use it. It doesn't make your hair crunchy, but still holds my curls. Definitely a good product to have around for those hot and humid days!

According to the Redken website, this is used at Fashion Week and is a best seller. Sorry, I wasn't sold. The smell is very metallic/grandma-very hard to look past. It's a bit sticky and didn't give me the hold that I wanted after I curled my hair. I tried it several times hoping that I would change my mind but I didn't.
